ELGE’s Steam Heating Heaters (SHH) comes in standard design completely assembled and ready for installation. Each package is always designed around an ELGE Shell&Coil Heat Exchanger and includes:

·       Electric Actuated Temperature Control Valve

·       Electronic Temperature Control Unit

·       Temperature Control Sensor

·       Condensate Temperature Control Sensor

·       ’’Y’’ Type Strainer

·       Air Vent

·       Pressure Gauge

·       Thermal Insulation Around the HX Shell

ELGE’s SHH unit is a vertical shell & coil, counter/cross flow heat exchanger designed for subcooling the steam condensate.  The ELGE SHH is condensate controlled and designed to supply heating for demands from 500 to 2000 MBtu/h.

Control Equipment

ELGE Packaged SHH is equipped with an electronic condensate control valve of brand TA (Tour&Andersson).

All interconnective electrical wiring is 24 Volt connected to a 120/24 Volt transformer.

Installation Conditions

·       Using the lowest possible supply temperature will reduce fouling and maintenance.

·       System must be installed upright
